ABOUT ME

Hey there!

Danielle here, owner of Danielle Bove Therapy.

I started my journey in supporting my community many years ago (2005 to be exact), when I realized I had a deeply profound love for being with and supporting people during their hardest life moments. It’s raw, it’s real and it’s incredibly beautiful.

I have always been inspired and motivated by those who are brave enough to look within, because I think it’s one of the most courageous and vulnerable things we get to do as humans.

LET’S SEE THOSE CREDENTIALS! LMFT #108743

I graduated from Cal Poly with a degree in Psychology, and later received my Masters in Somatic Psychology from John F Kennedy University. I then pursued professional licensure and became a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

On top of my Somatic training, I’ve had the honor of training in multiple other modalities, including family systems theory, brainspotting, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and emotion focused therapy . I am also a certified pediatric sleep consultant.

I have had the pleasure of working with community programs, schools, systems and individuals for well over a decade, and I’ve had deep love for it all.

I find that the most important factor in good therapy is a good relationship between therapist and client, and that is my ultimate goal here…to make sure you feel as confident, curious and inspired in this journey as I am.

DO I DO ANYTHING BESIDES THERAPY?

Although I have a deep love for my work, it’s not my only passion! I’m a human first, and a therapist second.

I’m a mom, a friend, and a daughter, and take immense pride in all of those roles. I have an unwavering love for the outdoors, all things comedy and won’t shy away from an occasional good glass of wine.

Therapy should be focused on you, but it can be strange to bear your soul to someone whom you know nothing about. So, if you have a question, I welcome it with open arms.

Can’t wait to meet you!
